Hello! I am Captain Lee Geist. I was born on Pickering Passage in the Southern reaches of Puget Sound. I have a lifetime of boating experience operating various vessels, from oyster skiffs to an 88-passenger excursion vessel and have traveled the waters of Puget Sound, Hood Canal and Canada. In 2009 I earned my 100 ton Master License.
I am currently offering cruises for up to 6 guests aboard M/V Twanoh. All trips depart the dock at Oakland Bay Marina in Shelton, Washington. Cruises can be either 1 or 2 hours, where I explain the history of Oakland Bay and the industry of the area. I also offer a longer cruise around Squaxin Island, with the round trip being approximately 4.5 hours. This cruise gives us a feel for some of the islands of South Puget Sound along with great views.
On all of these trips you are welcome to bring any food or drinks aboard and I have complimentary bottled water.
